16–17 CMHT is a community based multidisciplinary team offering mental health services in a community setting, Mon to Fri.
The service aims to offer support into education, employment and training for young people (aged 15-18 unless stated) who are: young carers (11-18)
Offer youth empowerment sessions and educational programmes for people from all backgrounds and ages in Manchester. These programmes help to develop vibrant communities as well as enhance the intellectual, social and spiritual development of individuals
A “Getting help” outreach mental health service. We have a team of practitioners who work in school settings delivering short-term interventions for mild to moderate mental health difficulties This could include anxiety, low mood, social anxiety, sleep problems or thoughts of self-harm.
We have a range of rooms available to hire at great rates. Ideal for sports events, meetings, forums, training and more!

Powerhouse is a registered charity based in Moss side Manchester and has been in existence since the year 2000. We are a Multi-Service Youth Hub for central Manchester and home to a range of services for Young People which include; Mental health, Careers advice and guidance, specialist programmes for young people 16-19 who are NEET.
A young carer is a child or young person aged 18 or under who provides care to a family member with a disability. This can be anyone in the family such as grandparents, parents and siblings.
If you are a young carer and would like to talk, why not ask for Lisa our young carers champion. She will listen and ensure the right help and assistance is at hand.
