
We run a variety of free youth activities for ages 7 up to 18, including drama classes, football, basketball and junior/senior youth clubs.

A Powerhouse wardrobe without waste. On the first Friday of the month, we give out free recycled clothing to the community. We take clothing donations all year round.

Our Health Champions go out into the community and conduct a variety of free health checks, including blood pressure checks, AAA screenings, and even give away free food parcels.

At the Powerhouse, we have a range of rooms for hire at competitive rates. From sporting events, to meeting or training days, we can host it all! Contact Reception for more information.

One of the country’s only dedicated youth libraries, with a session from 3pm to 7pm dedicated to young people aged 24 and under, Mon-Fri.

Powerhouse is a registered charity based in Moss Side Manchester and has been in existence since the year 2000. We are a Multi-Service Youth Hub for central Manchester and home to a range of services for Young People which include; Mental health, Careers advice and guidance, specialist programmes for young people 16-19 who are NEET.
A young carer is a child or young person aged 18 or under who provides care to a family member with a disability. This can be anyone in the family such as grandparents, parents and siblings.
If you are a young carer and would like to talk, why not ask for Lisa our young carers champion. She will listen and ensure the right help and assistance is at hand.
